Cyanotype

Made by sunlight…

Cyanotype is an early monochrome photographic printing process, using two chemicals to make a photo-sensitive solution. The actual printing is made by ultra-violet rays, so you can use normal sunlight. The result is an cyan-blue (or Prussian blue) print. Cyanotype was used to copy and publish constructions-plans, known as the “blueprints”or “Blaupausen”. For more information refer to articles at Wikipedia in English or German.
